Supplier terms

These terms apply to Featured supplier listings on Vetted Index. They were last updated on 26 October 2026.

1. Who we are

Vetted Index is run by Alan Cuzen, a sole trader trading as Vetted Index, 83 Walnut Road, Glasgow, G22 6ES. Email: listings@vettedindex.com.

2. What is included

  • Your claimed product rows are shown first in their categories on the equipment comparison, labelled "Featured · Paid listing".
  • Your logo, website, public email and phone are shown on those rows.
  • Quote requests in your categories are forwarded to your chosen email address, but only when the buyer has agreed their request may be shared with relevant suppliers. We do not promise any number of requests, enquiries or sales.
  • Other suppliers may also be Featured in the same categories. Where several are, their order is not guaranteed.

3. Price and billing

  • The price is the one shown when you subscribe: £29 a month or £290 a year at the founding supplier price. You keep that price for as long as your subscription continues without a break.
  • No VAT is charged, as Vetted Index is not VAT registered. If that changes, we will give you at least 30 days' notice before any change to what you pay.
  • Payment is taken in advance by Stripe at the start of each monthly or yearly period, and renews automatically until you cancel.
  • If a payment fails, your listing stops being Featured until the payment succeeds. Stripe will try again and email you.

4. Cancelling

  • You can cancel at any time in Stripe's customer portal, using the email you paid with. You do not need to contact us.
  • When you cancel, your listing stays Featured until the end of the period you have already paid for, then returns to a basic listing.
  • No refunds are given for part months or part years.

5. Your responsibilities

  • The information, logo and contact details you give us must be accurate, lawful and yours to use, and must not mislead buyers.
  • Use buyers' details from forwarded quote requests only to respond to that request, in line with UK GDPR. You are responsible for how you handle them once received.
  • You must be authorised to act for the business you subscribe for.

6. Removing listings

We can remove or edit a Featured listing, or end a subscription, if it breaches these terms, is misleading or unlawful, or harms buyers or the site. If we end a subscription for a breach, no refund is given. If we end one for any other reason, we will refund the unused part of the period you paid for.

7. Our responsibility to you

We aim to keep the site and forwarding working, but do not guarantee they will be uninterrupted. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Changes and law

We may update these terms. We will email you at least 30 days before a change that affects you, and you can cancel before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and the Scottish courts have jurisdiction.
